This is an exact replica of the A-1 plug spinner.  The only difference is that it does not have the A-1 stamp on it.  These are incred­i­bly use­ful and durable. The tool works with a coil spring that is wound using a turn han­dle that is then set in place.

Plug spinners are used if a cylinder is picked in the wrong direction, or if picking requires the plug to be rotated in one direction and then spun/flipped the opposite direction.

Plug spinners will spin the plug when picked and move the lower pins across the shear line without having any driver pins drop into lower chambers.
